We strive to ensure every animal we offer for sale meets the expectations of its new owner and stand behind our animals, guaranteeing all breeding animals to be reproductively sound.
We guarantee all of our animals to be healthy when sold and all goats and sheep to test negative for CL, CAE/OPP and Johne's within 14 days of sale.
We will gladly hold animals for up to two weeks (or two weeks after weaning) with a non-refundable 50% deposit. All prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
Raising our own meat gives us control over the care, feed, and medications used in the food we serve our family. We also provide meat to our local community to help support our small farm. Our supply is limited to ensure the best possible care to our animals and preserve the health of our local ecosystem.
Online ordering through our website is available and we are excited to make our products more accessible to our local community.
After the difficulty we encountered locating good working livestock guardian dogs, we decided to do a limited amount of breeding. Our dogs come from generations of working livestock guardian dogs and have been selected for both their working ability and their stable temperament. Our dogs are socialized with visitors, young children, and all sorts of livestock and poultry. Our Maremmas are registered with the Maremma Sheepdog Club of America.
Penny is an excellent guardian and has a special bond with our children. She loves to socialize with introduced visitors to our farm and looks after any animal we ask her to protect. She is gentle and good natured, and has protected our stock from both four-legged and aerial predators.
Mayuk came to us all the way from Arizona. He is maturing into a handsome and large male. He has proven to be a confident, mild mannered dog and is doing extremely well with our stock of all ages and types. He is sweet and goofy, but also takes his job very seriously.
On February 16th, 2022, Penny delivered ten healthy puppies! We implemented Puppy Culture principles and raised the pups with our animals to ensure their future success as confident, capable livestock guardian dogs. All of these puppies are excelling in working homes.
We are planning a litter for the spring of 2024. Please contact us if you would like to be considered for a Maremma puppy from a future litter.
If you are interested in acquiring animals from us, please email us or send us a message using the form at the bottom of this page to let us know what you are looking for. We are happy to let you know what we have available or add you to our waiting list.
Our Boer goats are the results of carefully selected pairings, with the intent of producing top quality registered breeding stock. We only offer animals to other breeders that we feel are of high enough quality we would utilize them in our own herd without hesitation. All breeding goats will meet American Boer Goat Association Breed standards unless otherwise disclosed.
We sell a limited number of young bucks we judge to be of excellent quality. These buck kids must demonstrate above average rate of gain, have correct structure, and show promise for improving the breed.
The weanling doe kids we offer are from proven maternal lines and are of excellent quality for starting or building a herd. We offer a very limited number of weanling doe kids every spring.
In order to keep our herd at an optimal size, we occasionally have mature does available for sale to make room for their daughters in our program. These are does who have proven their abilities and still have a lot to offer.
We generally have bucks available for outside service through either driveway breeding or lease. We also occasionally offer mature breeding bucks for sale. Please contact us for pricing and availabilty.
We offer buck kids directly off the farm as we have them available. These kids are generally around 80lbs and are sold at a small premium over market prices.
Our Saanens are selected for high milk production, calm dispositions, and ease of hand milking. We kid out a few does annually and generally have a very limited number of young Saanens available in the spring. Saanen kids are disbudded in their first few days of life and receive heat treated colostrum to ensure disease prevention and passive transfer of antibodies. When we offer very young Saanen kids we give preference to homes that have experience raising bottle kids.
We offer a limited number of Saanen does and doe kids as we have them available. Our Saanen program is very small, so we generally only sell a couple of does every year.
Most of our buck kids are sold as pet or companion wethers (castrated males), though we occasionally offer intact buck kids when their genetics show promise for their potential to contribute positively to the breed.
We generally have Mini Rex rabbits who are ready to go to their new homes. We do not sell rabbits as surprises or presents, and do not sell to minors without a parent present. All rabbits we sell are permanently identified with an ear tattoo.
Show quality Mini Rex have the potential for a successful show career and are sold with a full pedigree. Some have already earned legs toward their Grand Champion certificate.
Does who are over maximum weight or may not be show winners, but have qualities that make them valuable as breeding animals, are offered as brood quality and sold with a full pedigree.
Our rabbits are handled from their first day of life and are well socialized and friendly. They make wonderful, unique pets and are generally easy to litter train.
Breeding rabbits include full pedigrees.
These are females we have been growing out for our program, but have decided to make available due to our limited cage space.
These young bucks have good growth rates and ring color and show potential to improve the breed.
If you are looking for meat rabbits, please contact us to see if we can accommodate your request.
If you buy a rabbit from us and find you are no longer able to keep it for any reason, please contact us. We are happy to take rabbits back, but do not offer refunds for returned rabbits.
