Saanen Dairy Goats

We have a small herd of ADGA Registered Saanens who happily provide milk for our family and we have been working to improve the genetics, conformation, and milking ability of our does with every generation.

What started over 15 years ago as a single Saanen doe to supplement Boer bottle babies and provide milk for our family has become our daughter, Madison's passion. She has taken responsibility for the day-to-day care, milking, and decision making for our small herd of Saanens. Through the Massachusetts 4-H program and the generosity of so many wonderful breeders and mentors, she is perfecting her fitting and showmanship and has learned so much about all aspects of raising and showing dairy goats. Our sons have started showing Saanens, too!

We had an amazing opportunity to acquire a Saanen buck with an incredible pedigree during the fall of 2025. The does in Holo Holo's pedigree have been proven in production and have appraised extremely well. Several have been first in their class at an ADGA National Show, with many being Grand or Reserve National Champions. His first daughters placed well in their classes at the 2025 ADGA Nationals, including a 1st/1st Udder Two Year Old. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to bring Holo Holo to Western Massachusetts and appreciate the help of everyone who has made this possible.

When we had the opportunity in the spring of 2025 to add Talisman to our small herd of Saanens, Madison jumped at the chance. He is a structurally correct young buck with a bright future ahead of him. More importantly, he has genetics behind him that we have admired for years.

He is linebred on SGCH BEORNINGS AIRSOFT, a doe who has a permanent appraisal score of EX92 EEEE. His dam, BEORNINGS PLAY-DOE and her dam, SG BEORNINGS JUMANJI are powerful does with immense dairy strength.

Talisman is available for outside breeding to approved does.

Misty is the grand-daughter of a doe we purchased from Scotty & Eileen Broaddus at Araby Farm in 2014. She is pictured milked out at 426 days into her second lactation. She has the strength and structure to remain productive into her golden years and has a strong will to milk. In 2024, she delivered quads and went on to be named Best of Breed and earn her milk star at the 1-day milk test at the Eastern States Exposition.

Gem is a sweetheart of a doe who has been a patient partner as Madison has improved her fitting and showmanship skills over the past several years. Gem has been awarded many Grand and Reserve Champion placings at ADGA shows and has earned a restricted leg. Gem was bred by John & Patti Nutile at Mongomery Park Farm and found her way to us thanks to our friends at Fox's Pride Dairy Goats.
